BijleeX was born from a simple frustration: why is charging an EV still so complicated in 2025?
BijleeX started in a Leeds garage in 2023. Our founder — a frustrated EV owner tired of hunting for public charging stations — decided there had to be a better way. Two years, three prototypes, and a lot of late nights later, we launched the Pro X1.
The name comes from "Bijlee" — the Urdu and Hindi word for electricity — combined with the 'X' that represents the next generation. We're a proudly British company with South Asian roots, built on the belief that clean mobility should be accessible to everyone.
Today, BijleeX chargers are trusted by thousands of EV drivers across the UK, with plans to expand across Europe in 2026.
From one garage. To thousands of driveways.
Every BijleeX charger we sell takes one more driver off petrol. We're committed to carbon-neutral packaging and operations by 2026.
Our in-house R&D team is already working on next-gen bidirectional V2H charging and solar-integrated portable units for 2026.
We believe EV charging shouldn't require a home installation or a premium. BijleeX brings professional-grade charging to everyone.
"Absolutely changed how I charge my Ioniq 5. No more detours to public stations — I just plug in at my parents' house when I visit. Brilliant product."
"The app is slick and the hardware feels premium. Had my Tesla topped up overnight at a holiday cottage using just a 13 amp socket. Genuinely impressed."
"Compact, solid build quality, and the cable is long enough to actually be useful. Best EV purchase I've made since the car itself."
